SOFEFO Retreat...

Aaaa...haven't posted since so long...well, life is busy. Anyway, I just had a SOFEFO retreat (It's a Christian retreat.) on the 16th-today. Because the price of the old place rose, we went to a new place called Wisma Shalom. It's not nearly as good but I still had fun. We played Gestapo on Saturday...I, for the first time, got to Greg (who was hiding). I got to him three times the first game and once the second game. Anyway...here are some picts.

Verse of the Entry: 1 Timothy 4:12 - Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

A Speacial Day Tomorrow--60s, B-bal, SoFeFo

Hello my loyal (or desperate) readers!! Well, It's been a week or so since I last posted. I just want to tell you guys that I joined the basketball team. I actually made it!!! (The fact is that there were no cuts. Everyone who tried-out and not quit made the team. Hahaha...so there are 21 players in both the JV and Varsity teams) Well, don't start laughing at me...you should encourage me and pray for me because....because...because...tomorrow is my first game! It's weird...I'm not excited, neither am I nervous (for now at least). I actually don't want to have a game tomorrow...I guess it's my introverted personality. You see, I quit from the try-outs last year because I didn't like all the attention. Last summer, however, I went to a summer camp which sorta helped me build my confidence. So...here I am, on the team with a game tomorrow. As you can probably predict by now, I'm posting an entry while I have homework...hahaha. Well, I just want to tell some humans what I'm going through.

By the way, tomorrow is the 60s Day. I'm supposed to dress up like the 60s instead of wearing our Friday shirts (it's the uniform I have to wear every Friday). I also have SoFeFo (it's a middle and high school bible study sorta thing) tomorrow. I also have PE (physical education). So I'll wear the 60s clothes in the morning, then change to my PE uniform in the afternoon, then change to the basketball jerseys for the game, then change for SoFeFo...that's four sets of clothes!! Well, I gotta get back to work now...

Verse of the Entry: 1 John 3:8 - Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Just an extra verse for this entry: Galatians 5:13 - You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.

New Activity...

Hey guys...I just wanted to post an entry...hahaha. Well, I got something new that I can do...or more like something to check every so often. I just got MySpace, but it's still boring cuz I practically have no friends...hahaha. Well, if you're curious, you can visit my MySpace (sounds repetitive) at www.myspace.com/therainofliem And the address of my blog at MySpace is blog.myspace.com/therainofliem...it's still practically empty but I'll post there sometimes (if I do, I'll probably tell you guys here at blogspot).

Verse: Romans 8:31b - If God is for us, who can be against us?

Last Day of Holiday...

Today is Wednesday and is the official day when I'll start using various colors for my blog entries. It's meant to make my blog less boring.

Well, as the title says, today is the last day of my Christmas break. I'm...well...stressed. I'm sort of not ready to face all the due dates. Anyway, I had much fun today playing DOTA at DigiGames. Although I only played two games, it was a lot of fun...some of my friends, though, were probably ticked of at me stealing their kills
a thing that people say have become my hobby (or more like the only thing I can do)hahaha. Well...it's 10 pm and I better shower so that I can sleep before 11 and wake up fresh tomorrow.

By the way...I'm gonna start putting "verse of the blog entry." It'll be just a verse that comes up. This entry's is Philippians 2:14 - Do everything without complaining or arguing

End of Break...New Computer!

Hello again readers...today is Monday and is a day to celebrate. My dad bought me a new computer yesterday, and it was sent to my house today. Well...I'm very excited especially because it's a very good one. It has two processors, so it's faster...it has two 512 Megabyte RAMs, so it's a little faster that a 1 Gigabyte RAM...it has a very good sound card and VGA card (for graphics)...it has a card reader...it has a DVD/CD-RW...it has 7 USB ports (too many for me)...it has I don't know what else....oh, it has 160 Gigabyte hard disk drive (my old one has only 40). I also got a new 17" LCD monitor and a new keyboard and mouse. Anyway, I'm so glad I can get rid of my old computer (it was very slow).

After that one Saturday of pool at CiWalk and basketball at school, I have done nothing but played multiplayer with some friends at DigiGames...so my holiday is still boring (besides getting the computer). School's starting on Thursday but I'm unusually unexcited...this holiday has simply been too short for me. Well...you're probably tired of reading my boring story again, so bye...

Christmas Break Summary

Hello everyone...I haven't posted in a long, long time. I was busy with projects and exams...then I was too busy enjoying the break. Well the break is coming to an end...in over a week, school's starting and with it comes stress. Anyway, like the title of today's post, this is going to be about what I have done so far during this holiday. So here we go...
The last day of school was an exam day. Since we didn't have history exam, we left school early at 10.15 am. I met Tomoko again that morning. Tomoko is a Japanese who's not really Japanese (She was born in Indonesia and have lived here most of her life). Well, she left for the Philippines at the end of 9th grade. She came here for a visit. Anyway...I went to CiWalk (which is a mall) and watched Eragon at the cinema. Trust me...that movie sucks. Anyway...I watched Happy Feet the next day...and that movie sucked too. During this holiday, I have also gone to DigiGames twice. It's a multiplayer place where we usually play Dota (a Warcraft map).
So far...my holiday has been boring. Just movies and computers. I did go to Jakarta with my parents to flee Bandung. You see, during all Muslim holidays with 'Idul,' (Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, etc.) my neighbor puts several big speakers right in front of my house. Then he turns the volume to the highest and plays this Muslim thing all night long. So we can never sleep. Apparently, Idul Adha was on the 31st of December...so we went to Jakarta so we can sleep. And we also went there because the traffic in Bandung was bad. (During holidays, people from Jakarta come to Bandung to shop cheap clothes, so the city becomes congested.) I stayed at the Marriott in Jakarta. It's supposed to be an excellent hotel (because it's expensive), but it was not that good. It was just like any other five star hotels. Anyway, I practically just watched TV all the time there...the only other choice of activity would be to go shopping with my parents in different malls. Anyway, I got home and was invited to hang out with Tomoko and friends. That...was today.
First, the plan was to play pool at CiWalk at 2 pm, then watch Happy Feet at Blitz Megaplex at 4pm, then play basketball at school at 7pm, but the plans changed because the pool place opened at 3pm and because some people (including me) didn't really want to watch Happy Feet (I already watched it). So Tomoko, SonA, Julianna, and I played pool from 3pm to 4pm. (Travis was playing but he left early to watch Happy Feet with Wil and his sister Mari at Blitz.) I then ate at Gokana Teppan with Tomoko and Julianna (SonA left). Then I went to Mooky's house...that's where I am now. I played a short computer game then left for the school to play basketball with many people. Then I went back to his house. (Btw, Mooky is M...his name is Mookyung Shin.)
Well...this has been long and I am tired...by the way, today is Tomoko's last day in Bandung (I don't think I've told you). Well, I'll post something again sometime...maybe soon or in a long time. Au revoir...
