My Life So Far...
I am a male student at Bandung Alliance International School (BAIS). Hmm...what else is there to say about myself...nothing much actually. Let's just say that I am myself (so far, my life sounds boring but, trust me, it's not at all). So, I have not much to say about myself, but I sure do have a lot to do in this life. First, I am now obsessed about backpacking across Europe. My friend actually came up with the idea. So the plan is that he, another friend of mine, and myself are going to backpack across Europe after we graduate high school. I'm now in the 2nd quarter of my 10th grade, so that will leave me about 2 years and 8 months to prepare for the trip. Man I'm excited! Anyway, enough about the trip...I've got other ambitions too.
The two friends I told you about are crazy people. One name starts with a 'W', and the other a 'T'. They are white americans and are more athletic than me. Now, I said they're crazy because they are super intelligent! The one with a 'T' can procrastinate all he wants and then finish his homework or project the night before it's due. And what's crazy is that he still gets better grades than me. The 'W' is not as fast-working as 'T', but he certainly is just as smart. They even got the same GPA. I've tried hard to beat or at least equal them in my grades, but it just seems impossible (since I've never succeded). I'm taking PE this year and I am bad at the fitness testing, so my grades got lowered because of the 'B' I got for PE. Because of that, my GPA is 0.1 lower than theirs. Man...how I wish I can beat them. But don't worry, I ain't gonna give up.
Hmm...what else is happening in my life...ow, today I quit the volleyball team. Well, it shouldn't even be considered a team. It's an intramural thing and I was expecting many high schoolers to join, but instead, all these middle schoolers joined (BAIS is preschool, kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school all joined together. We only have about 200 students all-together, so there aren't many high schoolers). I went to one practice and didn't think of it as fun. Since the little kids didn't know how to play, the scrimmage wasn't even fun. One person serves and no one can hit the ball back. So it's not serious at all, but it's for teaching middle school kids who don't know how to play. Anyway, that's not the real reason that I quit. Well, the reasons are that I have no friends in the "team" and that the team has practices or games on Fridays. I would rather go home or play with my friends on Fridays. So instead, I signed up for the intramural badminton program. So far, I know that middle schoolers practice on Mondays and that high schoolers practice on Wednesdays. There are no practices on Fridays, and I have some friends who are joining too. So, I guess I'm excited, though I like volleyball over badminton, but at least I can actually play with good people, many who are better than me.
So, are you sick of reading my story?? Well, I think I'm finished for now. And If you think you've got better stories, leave your blog address as a comment and I'll read it...maybe I'll even leave comments. Anyway, au revoir for now.
